Leadership Team
Dr. Pirani oversees all Clinical and Regulatory Compliance matters while focusing on promoting health and wellness strategies and diversifying clinical service offerings that help pharmacies expand their scope of practice. He brings a wealth of knowledge in clinical operations, chronic care disease management, pharmacogenomics, evidenced-based pharmacy, contract structuring, policy and procedure writing, licensing, and accreditations while serving as Director of Operations for a high-volume mail-order facility licensed in 47 states.
Dr. Pirani received his Doctorate from The University of South Florida and his Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida. He is a Board-Certified Geriatric Pharmacist and holds a courtesy faculty appointment with the University of Florida and South Florida. He has a teaching and MTM certification and is a member of Phi Lambda Sigma, APhA, AMCP, ASCP, and FPA.
Mr. Saslow is an honor graduate of Western Michigan University and earned his J.D. at the University of Michigan Law School. Mr. Saslow began his career as a practicing attorney in the corporate securities Department of Pepper Hamilton LLP, working on mergers and acquisitions, 1933 Act filings, and serving as counsel to federally-licensed SBICs. Mr. Saslow subsequently joined GPS Industries LLC, a development-stage telematics company that sold to Ingersoll Rand in 2017.
After the sale of GPS Industries, Mr. Saslow joined Trxade, bringing his years of transactional experience to provide legal counsel regarding corporate finance, mergers & acquisitions, securities, and secured transactions. Mr. Saslow currently serves as a Guardian ad Litem for the Orange County Legal Aid Society and in his spare time, he enjoys having spare time.
Candice Beaumont started her career in Corporate Finance at Merrill Lynch. Ms. Beaumont worked as an investment banker at Lazard Frères for several years, executing over $20 billion in merger and acquisition advisory assignments. She left Lazard to work as a private equity principal at Argonaut Capital, where she was responsible for all aspects of new investment execution for the firm and its portfolio companies.
Ms. Candice Beaumont attended Rice University and obtained a bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Miami, graduating first in her class with a major in International Finance & Marketing. Candice was Captain of the Miami Varsity Tennis team earning Academic All-American honors and is also a former world-ranked professional tennis player.
Mr. Jeff Newell brings over forty years of experience in the healthcare industry. Since May 2003, Mr. Newell has served as the CEO of The Newell Group LLC, a healthcare consulting firm. Before that, he served as the CEO of Pharmacy Quality Solutions, a healthcare quality measuring and reporting company.
He also previously served as the VP of Pharmacy Administration for Kmart Pharmacy/Sears Holding Corporation, a retail pharmacy, and as Sr. VP and COO for Millennium Long Term Care. Before that, he served in various other healthcare management roles, including serving as COO of Quality Partners Rhode Island, and Director of Pharmacy Programs with CVS.
